therefore the reservation for travel in these trains will start from 10 September.

In view of the increasing demand for rail travel, Indian Railways has given a green signal to control 80 more trains from 12 September.

. Reservation are required for the journey. These trains are additionally to the 230 special trains already being run. With this, the overall number of special trains running on rail tracks are 310.

The trains that are announced to run include Varanasi Vande Bharat Express, Lucknow Shatabdi and Gorakhpur and Prayagraj Humsafar Express.

Clone train will run when roster is long

Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav said that seeable of the increasing demand of passengers, it's been decided to run these 40 pairs of trains. the quantity of passengers altogether these special trains are monitored. Alternatively, a clone or duplicate train are going to be run on the routes where the roll are going to be long. the method of operation of the cloned trains are going to be started within the following 10 days.

Yadav said that more trains may be run on the demand of the states.. Yadav also made it clear that sheets and blankets won't be made available to passengers in any category. With the consent of the Bengal government, Kolkata Metro may also be started from next week.

Bullet train project are going to be delayed

According to the Railways, thanks to the Corona crisis, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad passenger train project won't be completed by its fixed deadline of December, 2023. The epidemic has delayed opening of tenders and land acquisition for the project. Not only this, the project cost is additionally estimated to extend from 1.08 lakh crore to 1.70 lakh crore rupees.

National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has up to now acquired 63% of the land for the project. Land has been acquired in Gujarat, 77 in Dadar Nagar Haveli and 80 per cent in Maharashtra. Officials say there are still problems in land acquisition in areas like Palghar in Maharashtra and Navsari in Gujarat.
