Covid-19 Alert: ICMR launches a New Vaccine Portal
The ICMR on Monday has released an online portal that would satisfy all the queries of citizens regarding the development of the vaccine and the national clinical registry of COVID-19.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released a portal, which was inaugurated by the Ministry of Health( MoHFW) and Family Welfare by Dr.Harsh Vardhan. Harsh Vardhan is also the Minister of scientific development.
The online portal which was released is a stock of information providing the development of the Vaccines in India and would provide its ongoing Clinical trials and will offer progress reports of the vaccines made locally and globally at regular intervals.
The online portal could be accessed through the web and information on the development of the viruses can be achieved. Recently, India is actively preparing 3 vaccines which are COVIDSHIELD, COVAXIN & ZYCOV-D along with many other local vaccines.
The three are on Phase-II trial about Clinical trials the reports would be released online. The Website has complete detail about the animal trial reports which have been conducted through CORONAVIRUS vaccines currently. It also includes the development of the genome sequences and its reports along with the academic papers about the preparedness of the vaccine. Russia is currently going to launch its 2nd vaccine after the Sputnik-V.
