DMRC-CISF creates 'blue print' to control crowd.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) together with the Ministry of Urban Development have prepared the SOP for the prevention of Corona Infection and safe operation of the metro. In this, the most important decisions have been taken about Crowd Management). Actually, the biggest hurdle in the operation of the Metro so far has been the huge crowd of passengers. Everyone feared that the huge rush of passengers in the metro might not cause the spread of the Corona infection. Now, to overcome this hurdle, DMRC and CISF have prepared a plan together.
A senior official associated with Metro Security told that under the new plan, now a limited number of passengers will be given entry within the metro station and trains. Currently, the number of 50 passengers in a metro coach has been fixed. At the same time, the process of marking has been started at the metro station, so that certain distance between passengers can be maintained. Two gates of the metro station will be available for movement. Passengers will enter through one gate, while the other gate will exit. Similarly, in the metro train, one gate will be set to enter and the other gate will be scheduled for exit. DMRC and CISF are trying to keep the distance between the passengers. To keep this distance intact, DMRC has also decided to deploy additional security personnel.
डीएमआरसी और सीआईएसएफ ने भीड़ नियंत्रण के लिए 1000 से अधिक अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा कर्मियों की तैनाती की है. इसमें कुछ सुरक्षाकर्मियों की जिम्मेदारी सिर्फ इतनी होगी कि वह मेट्रो कोच के भीतर यात्रियों की निर्धारित की संख्या को बरकरार रखें. मेट्रो सुरक्षा से जुड़े वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के अनुसार, यदि किसी कोच में यात्रियों की संख्या अधिक पाई जाती है तो अगले स्टेशन में उन्हें उतार दिया जाएगा. इसके अलावा ट्रेन ऑपरेटर को भी यह कहा गया है कि वह सीसीटीवी कैमरों के जरिये ट्रेन के सभी कोचों में अपनी निगाह बनाए रखें. यदि कोई भी यात्री निर्धारित नियमों का उल्लंघन करते पाया जाता है, तो उसके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई भी की जाएगी. इसके अलावा मेट्रो ट्रेन ऑपरेटर को यह भी कहा गया है कि यदि किसी स्टेशन में अधिक यात्री दिखाई दे तो वहां पर ट्रेन न रोकी जाए.
