India's corona vaccine is in Phase II clinical trial: Drug markers are asked to submit their specific prices.

India is having the two indigenous vaccines applicants the covaxine by the Bharat Biotech and ZyCOV-D by the Zydus Cadila. There has been a competition between the two authorizations of the Phase II trials.

India is leaving no effort upon developing a vaccine against the pandemic of coronavirus infection. the ICMR officials on Wednesday have reported the parliamentary panel about the successful Phase II trial. 

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Director-General Balram Bhargava informed members of the parliamentary standing committee on home affairs that the vaccine candidates developed by Bharat Biotech, Cadila, and the Serum Institute of India are at different stages of the trial, said an MP present in the meeting, PTI reported.

After the launch of the COVID-19 vaccine by Russia on the assistance of Vladamir Putin without proper rounds of trials have been facing several rounds of controversy as proper data wasnt provided after the Phase 1 trial.
