JEE-Advance Result Updates: Chirag Falor Got Bal Shakti Puraskar for 2020, AIR-1 in JEE-Advance.

Chirag Falor topped the prestigious exam today October 5, after obtaining AIR-1 in JEE ADVANCE & All-India-Rank 12 in JEE mains. The Pune based boy secured admission at MIT in March 2020 and was attending the online classes from home due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown. 

As per recent reports, Falor has skipped studying in IIT's though he was preparing for 4 years as he had already secured his admission to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US. 

Falor has scored 352 out of 396 marks. He has reported media by saying that securing a seat in IIT is very tough and he was preparing for 4 years as it is a one-time-exam with a vast syllabus, while he chooses to study at MIT as it evaluates the candidate based upon his personality and potential and checks how much he or she can leverage from their opportunities. 

PM Modi has awarded him with Bal Shakti Puraskar for 2020. The puraskar is conferred to recognize the special contribution of the children in the field of social service, innovation, bravery, sports, art and culture, and scholastic. The award carries a medal, certificate of appreciation, a citation, and a cash prize worth one lakh rupees. 

Any Child who is a citizen of India can be nominated for the award by going to nca-would.nic.on the website and filling the necessary information and attaching the relevant documents.

Falor was awarded for this scholastic performance and excellence in education. 

 The Joint entrance exam-advance results are out. 

Nearly 1.6 lakh candidates had registered for the JEE exam, which was held on 27 September, and around 1.5 lakh appeared for it, with over 43,000 candidates, including 6,707 girls, clearing it few candidates missed their exams due to subsequent lockdown.
