This accident happened near Gashini in the village panchayat Saraj of Banjar sub-division. Here a safari vehicle (HP-15-B-5183) fell into a 40 meter drain. One person died and two people were seriously injured in the accident.

According to the information, there were 4 persons in the vehicle, who were going from Gadagushani towards Gashini village. As soon as his car reached the village Gashini, suddenly it went uncontrolled and fell into a drain 20 feet below the road. Om Prakash (24) son of Gashini village riding in this vehicle came under the vehicle. He died on the spot. While two other 22-year-old Khomey Ram son Heera Singh village Gashini post office Bachhut tehsil Banjar district Kullu and Teja Singh son Jagat Ram village Dandhar post office Shwad tehsil Ani district Kullu were injured. Both of them have been rushed to Banjar Hospital for treatment, where their treatment is underway. In this accident, the fourth person is safe.

DSP Banjar Binny Minhas confirmed the incident and said that 1 person has died in the accident. After a post-mortem in Banjar Hospital, the body has been handed over to his family members. The injured are being treated at Banjar Hospital. Police is investigating aspects of the cause of the incident.
