PM Modi has recently launched the Property Card scheme: Use of drones to map the Areas

Modi government has recently aided the rural household with a new Property Card scheme which would enable the farmers to use their property rights in villages and they can use their assets as collateral for the loans for the financial institutions. “SVAMITVA” scheme. It is a historic move to set the transform in rural India.

The One lakh Property holders in the villages would be able to launch their property cards through an SMS link which would be sent on their mobiles. Later would be delivered through physical distribution in the rest of the states except Maharastra. Maharastra is recovering a nominal cost for the property card so approx one month would be taken.

These Beneficial would be provided to 763 villages across 6 states: Haryana, Maharastra, M.P, Karnataka, Uttarakhand.

‘SVAMITVA” is a Ministry of Panchayati Raj scheme which was launched by PM Narendra Modi on April 24, National Panchayati Raj Day.

The government is going to use drone technology to cover 6,23,000 villages in the next 4 years. This new scheme would facilitate the farmers to borrow the money with their respective property cards from the banks.

Each card would have a Unique Identity no and linked to their respective Aadhaar Card- the world's biggest biometric identity project covering more than a billion people across the country, India.
