PNB's Announce Festive Bonanza Offer; On Home loan, car loan will not have to pay this charge.
PNB has said that the bank is currently offering home loans at the rate of 7.10 percent and car loans at the rate of 7.55 percent.
These rates are effective from September 1, 2020.
The bank has offered this bonanza offer in view of the decrease in loan demand due to the Kovid-19 crisis. According to the bank, this will help in accelerating demand in the coming time. Credit growth has been sluggish in recent times, despite the interest rate being very low. Under the 'Festival Bonanza Offer', the bank has announced waiving of upfront or processing fees and documentation charges on important retail products such as housing loans and car loans.
The statement issued by the bank said that "Customers can avail these attractive offers through PNB's 10,897 branches across the country or through digital medium till December 31, 2020".

PNB has decided to waive processing fees on new and takeover loans to make loans affordable and easy for customers.
The bank has said, "On home loans, customers will no longer need to pay a processing fee (maximum Rs 15,000) and documentation charge equal to 0.35 per cent of the loan amount. Now customers can save up to 0.25 percent of the total loan amount on a car loan. At the same time, the property can be saved up to Rs 1 lakh according to the loan amount against the loan.
