Investigation revealed that about one-third of Pakistan's pilots had cheated in the examination. Despite this, they got licenses from CAA. On July 21, the Supreme Court was assigned to the CAA to complete an immediate inquiry against the PIA pilots after the Minister of Aviation in Parliament informed them of a fake document of hundreds of pilots.

About a month ago, Pakistan's aviation authority suspended 68 pilots for holding suspicious licenses. After this, the total number of fliers with fake identities in the country was 161. While giving information, the Dawn newspaper said that he (68 pilots) was suspended by the Aviation Division on Monday. These suspended persons were among the 262 pilots who were placed under investigation by the Ministry of Aviation for flying by suspected license.
