AIPA has asked the government to regard 2020 as “ Zero Academic Year“
The All India Parents’ Association (AIPA), a national-level body of parents and guardians of the school students has shown opposition to the ideas regarding the idea of unlocking the schools or academic institutions unless the vaccines are available and the development of the state occurs in matters of health care.
Parents are much worried sending their students back to school where maintainability of social distance and wearing masks inside class platforms is quite hard . Their would be a vast majority of students travelling from different states across the country and making them attend lectures without taking proper measures would upsurge the cases .
Academic year is generally referred as the year were student go to institutions study at classes , regular assessments are made of the students by conducting test and finally grades are given to them based on their annual performance.
Zero academic year on contradict to an academic year means were no teaching would be done to peeps , they won't be assessed and their promotion to the next year would be withheld without having no mark of performance of the kid that year.
You must be wondering like me than why the government
is not accepting to the norms to regard the 2020 COVID-pandemic year as an Zero year because unlike promoting students in schools government has to check upon the fact of looking into the competitive arenas which includes exams of IIT’s, Medical institutions, NDA, and much more after 12th level . Hence forth the country wouldn't face lots of problem if theses exams are overlooked by the state .
The central government has restrained the state government to take actions upon this sector as it is not a state level issue . Different universities are promoting students based upon their attendance online classes and submission of assignments so as to start with the new academic year .
The practical solution of zero academic year would be benefited for school and college students by in vain wouldn't be a solution for students who would face of competitive exams . Their would be a difficulty to determine the top people .
If the government in further declares for a zero year this would certainly affect families who are earning their monthly income less than 10,000 and having just one smartphone it would be quite difficult for their buds to attend online resources with regular chargeable data services.
More than 26 crore are BPL so managing online education for their children would be quite hard and without having pc or tabs.The fortune kids would only be able to access this kind of education pattern .
Pros of zero academic year :
1. Purpose is to request spread corona virus would help in social distancing
2. Students would also be in relief
3. Jobless parents would be able to uplift the education without paying schools fees for a year.
Cons of zero academic year :
1. 1 year gap in resume
2. Hamper in the competitive levels
3. The student giving the exams would doubled
Pros and cons are apart we are looking upon the fact that ministers of different field are also dieing through corona virus , their comes a solution is to reopen the schools after the vaccines are given to the students and sanitisation of schools by authorities .
