Karnataka's Education Minister Takes Strict Action Against Schools For Violating Covid-19 Guidelines

Karnataka's Education Minister- Suresh Kumar decided to take strict action against schools, those which are running offline clases for the Grade 1st - 5th i.e against the Covid-19 Guidelines.
While opening the schools after the Lockdown, Karnataka Government issued various guidelines, which directed schools to do not start offline classes for students below 6th Grade due to Covid-19 pandemic. And to only start physical classes for students above 6th grade.
However, many media reports were observed, in which various private schools of Karnataka, didn't followed guidelines, and started physical classes for even Classes 1st to 5th.
Now, Mr. Suresh Kumar has ordered Public Education Department to take strict action against those schools. He has also instructed department officials and superintendents of the department to immediately issue a circular on the creation of taluka-level inspection teams and prosecute for all unauthorized schools or institutes which are conducting physical classes for Class 1 to Class 5.
Meanwhile, talking about the tremendous rise in Covid-19 cases in Karnataka, it is recorded 1000 cases in last 24 hours. And Karnataka is the eighth state in India for rising Covid-19.
