Rajasthan Government Decides- Not To Conduct Exams For Classes 1st-5th

* Classes 1st-5th to promote without conducting papers.
* Classes 6th & 7th papers to be conducted from 15th -22nd April
* Classes 9th-11th papers to be conducted from 6th-22nd April
* Result for Classes 6, 7, 9 and 11 will be announced on 30th April
The Rajasthan government has decided not to conduct any examination till the fifth grade in state-run schools in the current academic session due to the rising coronavirus cases. The Education Department also issued orders for this. Accordingly, the students from Class 1-5 will be promoted to the next class based on the assessment through the assignments or homework and previous year's performance.
This promotion will be done on 1st April and there will be no examination for it. On the other hand, the examination of Classes 6 and 7 will be conducted from 15th-22nd April, while exams for classes 9 and 11 will be conducted from 6th-22nd April and Class 8 exam will be conducted on board pattern as directed by the Education Minister and Authority.
And thus, the result of classes 6, 7, 9 and 11 will be announced on 30th April and admission for the upcoming session will start from 1st May.
Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra tweeetes that due to rising Covid-19, the authority has decided to not to take papers for the classes 1-5th.
Now, due to high rising of Covid-19 in India, many State Governments, just like Rajashthan Government are not conducting papers for Clases 1st-5th. Karnataka Government also, denied to open schools for Classes 1st- 5th and are also planning to promote students without papers. Also, yesterday only, Odisha Government also decided to promote students without conducting papers. And Punjab Government also decided to postpone Board Examinations of Clases 10th and 12th for about 1Month, due to bouncing back of Covid-19 in India.
