In India's largest vaccine drive, more than 1 crore beneficiaries aged over 60 years got vaccinated in just 15 days. While some Indians are still speculative about taking the COVID-19 vaccine, this figure proves that many people are resorting to the vaccination for immunity.
Several Indian political leaders and people from the film fraternity are sharing pictures of them receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and sharing it on social media. This instills a sense of confidence among the people to get their vaccine jab!
The COVID-19Â vaccination drive which was rolled out almost 2 months ago is progressing really well. The drive began in phases wherein the first phase began to vaccinate the frontline workers and doctors. In the ongoing second phase, people aging over 60 and people in ages 45>60 with comorbidities are getting their jab.Â
