Coronavirus attack is reaching to its core
Ram temple trust head Mahant Nritya Gopal Das tests positive for coronavirus. He also shared the dais with PM Modi.

The head of the Ram Janma Bhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, 82, tested positive for COVID – 19 and his health deteriorated on Thursday morning in Mathura.
The Mahant visited the temple town on Tuesday evening to attend the Krishna Janamasthami function at Sri Krishna Janamsthan temple. He is also the chairman of Krishna Janam Bhoomi Niyas.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to an eminent cardiologist in Medanta and decided to shift the ailing seer to the hospital, right after discovering about the Mahant's health.
The Mahant started feeling uncomfortable due to high fever and breathlessness today morning around 6:30 am, says this Mathura district magistrate Sarvagya Ram Misra.
A team of doctors immediately arrived to give him a check-up. “Antigen test for Covid-19 was also conducted, which showed positive results,” said the DM, adding that his oxygen level was, however, saturated.
The DM said that the CM has directed that the Mahant be shifted to Medanta hospital for better treatment. “We are making all arrangements for sending him there", he said.
On August 5 at the grand ceremony at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was one of the five persons on the stage.
He also shared the dais with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, and the Chief of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Singh (RSS) Mohan Bhagwat.
Some days before the ceremony, a priest, Pradeep Das, and 14 policemen on duty in the Ram Janam Bhoomi complex had also tested positive for coronavirus.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was at the forefront of the Ram temple movement and he is also the head of Mani Ram Das ki Chavani–Ayodhya's most prominent and largest temple. He was also made the head of Ram Janam Bhoomi Niyas.
