DISTURBING VIDEO OF PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ON A WOMAN BY GUARD OF A HOSPITAL GOES VIRAL

Uttar Pradesh is well known for meaningless violence for decades and now it records new evidence for the same. In UP's Prayagraj, in Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, the hospital guard, Sanjay Mishra, is seen beating up an elderly woman outside the hospital with relentless kicks. The guard was arrested late at night on Thursday from the hospital after the video clip went viral which triggered shock and anger among the audience on social media platforms.

The disturbing video shows how Sanjay Mishra keeps on hitting the poor woman with continuous blows and kicks outside the trauma center of the hospital in Prayagraj at about 200 km from the state capital Lucknow, on Thursday night. The elderly woman is seen to crib in pain, screaming as the guard kicks and beats her relentlessly.

In the short clip at least two men can be seen but they are seen not to take any action or show any protest to the brutality.

The hospital has blacklisted the private agency which has given hiring to the security guard to beat up the security guard who was deployed at the said hospital.

On social media platforms, many people have shown outrage towards the inhuman behavior of the security guard Sanjay Mishra. A twitter user wrote on this event, "Why is a guard of a hospital in prayagraj thrashing this old woman @Uppolice? This is how poor people will have access to healthcare @upgovt? Shameful to say the least. (sic)". Lalu Prasad Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal also tweeted on this in Hindi. It said that for the humanity of humans it is important to watch the viral video. The guard at Parayagraj's SRN hospital gave this kind of behavior to an ailing old woman. It further added that society should "spit at" such behavior that the woman underwent given any kind of financial, mental, and physical state she is in. It is indeed shameful for society to see such examples.
