No More Burger’s, Pizza On School Campus, Fssai Bans Selling Junk Foods Or Their Ads

The Food and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued a draft on the regulation of the sale of the junk food counters or in the school canteens and within 50 meters as part of the objective to ensure safe and wholesome food for the proper diet and nutrition of the childrens.
Junk foods are the sources of mouth watering delicious , unhealthy items for food as they are supply a lot of fats and sugars , salts more than the RDA allowance but are relatively supply low levels of proteins, filers, vitamins , minerals.
FSSAI CEO Pawan Kumar Agarwal had announced that the regulator has proposed banning advertisements of unhealthy food in and around school.
This action aims to ensure the consumption of safe, hygienic diet by the children . Nutritionists , dietitians would be engaged by the school administrations to assist in the preparation o the menu for the children, periodically .
It also prescribes regular inspection of premises to ensure that safe , healthy and hygienic food is served to students . Food is the main stuff to regulate the health of students and it plays an important role in maintaining the brain and its functions .
Regular junk food intake leads to long-term health problems such as obesity , accompanying along with emotional and self-esteem problems and prone to chronic illness in later life . A single fast food meal consumption would add on to approximately 160-310 extra kilocalories to the daily caloric intake for teens and younger children and this would certainly happer to heals their mental activity.
Eating a lot of fast food in childhood makes it hard to snuggle problems in future as its so much hazardous to bit-by-bit affect the heart , kidney , liver normal functions .
Poor academics :
Consumption of high calorie foods lead to impairment academic performance because high sugar levels followed by sugar crashes and poor concentration levels make it difficult to accomplish tasks and mental exercises which need extended periods of focussed attention for students in lectures . Extra addition of calories cause blood sugar fluctuations and also results in mood swing levels and lack of alertness , lowering class-room interactive participation . It also inhibits students from their participation in the extracurricular activities and the lack nutrients for physical activity.
Increased consumption of fats and carbs adds fats at belly , arms, as the includes omega 3 fatty acids and consequently causes obesity. It also affects social , academic performance , relationships , affects sleep-wake cycles and causing increased rates of suicides .
