Punjab Holds First Rank In Health Welfare

On Thursday Punjab government gives an official statement that the state holds the First rank in operationalism in Health and Welfare Centres. The latest ranking list has been released through centers.

Punjab Health and Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu without being affected by the restriction due to Covid-19 Lockdown, Punjab recorded 28.1 lakhs football after the held of lockdown.

Minister stated in a press release “Punjab would soon become the leading State in the Health sector as the state government has taken the pro-people initiative to further strength in health Infrastructure, he also states that currently,2042 HWCs are operational across the state.

Approx 1,600 health officers have been appointed at HWCs and a sum of 823 more candidates will be appointed in CHOs by the end of this year.
