Russia in talks with India to produce COVID vaccine Sputnik V locally
Russia is in converses with India for producing its COVID vaccine Sputnik V, which can be the world's first enrolled vaccine for the infectious illness.

Russia is searching for collaboration for manufacturing its Covid-19 vaccine.
The Russian authorities have shared some information on Sputnik V.
Russia had launched its corona vaccine Sputnik V in August with its absolute first doses being managed to President Vladimir Putin's daughter. Speaking on the development, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) CEO Kiril Dmitriev has said that Moscow is in close discourse with the Indian government and driving drug makers to locally create the Sputnik V vaccine in India.
Earlier in August, the Russian government has contacted India looking for a joint effort for manufacturing its COVID vaccine and leading its phase 3 clinical trial. As per government source, the issue was talked about by the national expert group on vaccine administration for COVID-19 in its meeting held on August 22.

Sputnik V has been created by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology along with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
When inquired as to whether the Russian government has put any formal request for the manufacture of its COVID-19 vaccine in India, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said at a press conference, “Undoubtedly, both India and Russia are in communication. Some initial data has been shared while some detailed information is awaited.”
As per sources, Russian Ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev has moved toward the workplace of Principal Scientific Advisor K Vijay Raghavan in addition to secretaries of the branches of biotechnology and well being analysis in such manner.
