Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray takes the first jab of covid vaccines, tweets MoH. He's one amony many Indian leaders who received the first jab of vaccine and is encouraging the public to take it whenever their turn comes.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray took the covid vaccination today and tweeted about the same saying, 'There is no need for anyone to have any fear or confusion about the COVID vaccine. I have just been vaccinated & I am standing right in front of you. So, it is my humble appeal to all my citizens who are eligible for vaccination to go get it without any doubt in their minds.'

After President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harshvardhan along with his wife Nutan Goel, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and his wife Lakshmi Puri, and other world leaders, Maharashtra CM took the vaccination. Each leader encouraged the public to get themselves vaccinated too, when their turn comes up.

The Ministry of Health also tweeted that read, "Shri Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, joined the #LargestVaccineDrive by taking his #FirstDose of #COVIDVaccine, and encouraging all eligible citizens to get vaccinated without hesitation."
