Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma recieves the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Earlier on March 12, 2021 the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma recieved his first shot of covid vaccine at Civil Hospital, Shillong. He took to Twitter to inform the citizens and to encourage the vulnerable group to infection to take the vaccination shot too.
His tweet read, "Took my 1st #CovidVaccine shot at Civil Hospital, Shillong today. I encourage all our frontline workers and senior citizens to take the vaccine for their protection."

Among other Indian leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Odisha's Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Assam State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad have taken the COVID-19 vaccine.
