Over 6 COVID-19 vaccines to be administered in India, says Health Minister

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan announced that more than six coronavirus vaccines will be in India.

He also gave the statement that a new landmark in covid-19 vaccination with the Highest single day vaccination of more than 20.53 lakh doses has been given. In total 1.84 crores, COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered to people so far, and 23 crore tests have been conducted.

"Respect science. There is a need to end politics over it given that it is a scientific fight, not a political one. That is why we should work unitedly". The Union Minister added.

He said that initially there was only one laboratory for COVID-19 testing, but now India has 2,412 testing laboratories. Discussing the rising cases in the country he added that people have become careless because they think that the vaccine has arrived now. He urged the people to follow all the covid restrictions and protocols wherever they go for protection against the virus.
