Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat: Madhya Pradesh has Joined hands with Manipur and Nagaland
Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat campaign Programme aims in enhancing the interaction of the diverse groups of peoples living in different states and union territories with an objective to promote the greater mutual attraction between them. Under this campaign recently M.P has paired up with Manipur and Nagaland.

- Origin: The programme was announced by the Prime Minister in 2015 on the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Subsequently, the initiative was announced in the Union Budget for 2016-17.
- Objective: To promote engagement amongst the people of different states/UTs to ensure a stronger united India.
- The Ministry of Human Resource Development has been designated Nodal Ministry for the co-ordination of the programme
- ACTIVITIES UNDER THIS PROGRAMME AIMS TO PROVIDE :
- Cultural Exchange Programmes between partnering States
- Translation of at least 5 Award-Winning Books and Poetry, popular folk songs of One State in the Language of the partner State.
- Exchange programme for Writers and poets.
- Organize Culinary festivals with opportunity to learn culinary practices.
- Organize Educational Tours for schools/Universities Students reciprocally.
- Promotion of Rajya Darshan for tourists.
- Cultural Exchange Programmes between partnering States

M.P handicrafts and handlooms are aiming to open up their showrooms across the state under his programme. M.P has always been famous for its Chanderi, Maheshwari, Bagh prints and also for its sarees.
This programme is also going to work upon the development of the handicrafts and handlooms in Manipur which would help in the development of the state. Handlooms in Manipur are famous for its artistic works.
