INDIA UNDER LOCKDOWN , AGAIN ?

With over 11 Million , Covid -19 cases in India, Punjab has ordered a complete lockdown till the end of March . Punjab has a total of 18,739  active cases as recoreded till 17th March,2021. 

The overall stats of Punjab are as follows 

Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, tweeted on Sunday that a State-wide lock down till March 31 had been ordered to check the spread of the Virus.

“All essential govt. services will continue and shops selling essential items such as milk, food items, medicines etc will be open. All Deputy Commissioners and Senior SPs have been directed to implement the restrictions immediately,” was tweeted by the Chief Minister. 

Also, everyone has to wear marks when going out , anyone found not wearing masks will be fined . 

As we celebrate almost 1 year of Lock down in India, seems like it will go on for a while in Punjab .
