LeT active operator in Jammu Kashmir Aquib Ahmed Rather arrested by the Kashmir Police

LeT Terrorist Operator Aquib Ahmed Rather was arrested in Bandipora District in Jammu and Kashmir by the joint operation of the SOG Handwara and Bandipora

Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorist outfit Aquib Ahmed Rather was arrested in Hajin, Bandipora District by the joint operation of SOG Handwara and SOG Bandipora. An FIR was filed in the Kralgund Police station and further investigation is underway.

This Terrorist outfit was the reason for many attacks that happened in Jammu and Kashmir which includes the Pulwama Attack and also the other attacks which led to the killing of many army men and also CRPF jawans. This can be seen as a move to neutralize terrorist and separatist groups in the region and to make Jammu and Kashmir a better place to visit for the Tourists and also for the locals who stay in Kashmir. 

The operation was conducted from reliable intelligence information that this Terrorist outfit can cause further Terrorist operations which can cause instability in the region. This arrest can bring about a lot of information about the other attacks which may have been planned by the LeT group to destroy the Governance in the region which could have also caused instability in the region.

This operation was conducted in the morning hours of August 12, 2020, with several teams along with the SOG Handwara and SOG Bandipora involved including 13 RR, 32 RR, and 92 CRPF Jawans also involved in the operation. There have been no casualties reported as of now of this attack, but there are speculations of casualties in the team which conducted the operation.
