Maharashtra records a rise of nearly 10,000 cases in the last 24 hours.

Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad districts in Maharashtra have seen a rise in positive cases.

Maharashtra has recorded nearly 10,000 cases in the last 24 hours, 9927 cases to be accurate. Pune recorded 1110 cases the highest while Mumbai being the next at 1012 cases. The case doubling rate has also shown a decrease, which is enough to confirm that the rise isn't ignorable. The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) stated that this is the seventh consecutive day where Mumbai has shown more than 1000+ rise in a number of cases.

The Honorable Home Minister of Pune, also stated that they would take calls on the restrictions to be imposed so as to control the cases. He also stated that they would take a decision on the restrictions on the 12th of March. Gyms, swimming pools, overcrowding at Railway stations, can be the reasons behind the rise in cases, he added.

March 2020 is what had seen the outbreak of Covid, and March 2021 is also what seems the same, but the only difference currently is that people's attitude toward it. The people have become more compliant these days, though not completely ignorant. But now it's high time where we all stay alert and refrain ourselves from involving in contact with more number people, and start taking precautions once again.
