The bail plea of Swapna Suresh Accused in the Kerala Gold Smuggling case dismissed

Kochi, Kerala: Another twist of events in the Kerala Gold Smuggling Case. The prime accused in the case Swapna Suresh filed a bail plea in the Cochin Customs case which was dismissed by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate.
There are no specific reasons mentioned for the dismissing of the bail plea. But according to several speculations, the major reason can be the request of the Customs department and also the NIA investigating the case to dismiss the plea as it can lead to the escape of the accused.
There was also evidence that proves that she was in charge of the smuggling of the gold from the UAE Embassy to India which was even proved with evidence of the statement from the wife of one of the main accused.
This has caused a huge backlash to the Kerala Government which has seen success during the COVID-19 crisis and also the Nipah Crisis. This case has also caused political fighting with the main opposition leader Ramesh Chenithala alleging the Chief Minister of being involved in the case and asking for his resignation.
The BJP also has alleged the Chief Minister and started protests in the Kerala Legislative Assembly weeks before asking for the Resignation of Chief Minister Ommen Chandy and his entire cabinet.
The NIA has now moved to the United Arab Emirates for further investigation and also in finding people who were in charge of the crime which can unravel many secrets into Chief Minister Omen Chandy and also his cabinet.
There can be several revelations which can be proved from the case which will be seen after further investigation of the NIA in Dubai which can reveal the inner corruption in the Kerala Government and may lead to the resignation of the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan which can be an ultimate twist in the Kerala political history.
