Bread Halwa Recipe
Bread - 8 slices
Sugar - 4 cups
Milk - 1 - cup
Ghee - 4 tablespoons
Cardamom Powder - 4 tsp
Cashews - 15 pieces
Raisins - 15 pieces
Cut the brown part of the bread from all sides and cut the white part into small pieces.
Put two spoons of ghee in a pan and allow it to heat up. Once the ghee is hot, add cashews and raisins to it and roast them till they turn golden and then keep them aside.
Then add chopped bread pieces in the same pan and continue roasting. Continue to cook the bread until it becomes crisp and golden in color.
Once the bread is cooked, add sugar to it and mix well.
Then pour milk in the pan and mix it well with sugar. Keep in mind that the gas is on low flame because we do not have to allow the milk to become too thick.
Cook the milk and bread until it mixes well. After this, add one to two teaspoons of ghee and cook until the ghee mixes well.
Cook all these things well and mix roasted cashews and raisins into it and mix it well.
