LINE OF ACTUAL CONTROL PUSHED BY CHINA INTO LADAKH

Chinese forces at LAC are pushing the border into the Indian territory while the document admitting the intrusions of Chinese forces vanishes from the Defense Ministry site. In early May, China made its intrusion into Indian Territory through eastern Ladakh. The Defense Ministry acknowledged this fact in a document that was showing on the news section of its website on Tuesday, 4th of August. However, two days later the page seems to have gone missing from the portal.
"Chinese aggression has been increasing along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and more particularly in Galwan Valley since May 5, 2020. The Chinese side has transgressed in the areas of Kungrang Nala, Gogra and north bank of Pangong Tso lake on May 17-18, " the document of the Ministry read under the tab "Chinese Aggression on LAC" in "What's new" section of its website.
China wanted to move its forces towards the direction of Finger 8 from Finger 3. The Defense Ministry believes the Line of Actual Control lies near about Finger 8. This is why China wanted India to remove the Dhan Singh Thapa post located on the sides of Pangong Tso lake near Finger 3. However India has refused to do so because the post lies within the Indian Territory.
The Chinese are gradually trying to push the LAC inwards in the Ladakh area which is why disappearance of the above stated document from the dashboard gets sudden importance. The document had the minutes of the meeting held by the commander in cheif of both sides which however came to a deadlock. It was the fifth round of meeting at ground level between the two countries and it is believed another round of meeting needs to be done to remove the Chinese Army from the Indian markes territories near Ladakh LAC.
India on the other hand has been insisting the Chinese forces to take back from the regions between Finger 4 and Finger 8 where they have forcefully confiscated land. In Gogra, the Chinese said they would pull back by 2 KMs but have still not done so. The removal or disappearance of the document from the portal makes it even worse.
